Shipping & Delivery Policy

Availability: We ship out most items from our warehouse in Seattle, Washington normally within 2-4 business days of your order. Some of our products ship directly from the manufacturer or distributor. Products from other vendors usually take an extra 2-5 business days for processing before it is shipped. On some occasions we may not stock certain items in our warehouse or stores, in which case we order them in from our vendors, which may delay shipping up to an additional two weeks or more. Custom-made items ship when they are completed; each custom item should include estimated shipping timeframes in their individual product listings. Please note that it may take longer than usual to fulfill your order as we work to ensure the health and safety of our team.

Carriers: Most orders we will ship via UPS, FedEx, or USPS. For orders that qualify for Free shipping we ship almost all of our packages via UPS. We do not take requests for the shipping carrier on orders that qualify for Free shipping. Please make sure that you give us an accurate street address that can be delivered to. Delivery quotes are for business days only. Shippers do not ship on Saturday or Sunday and do not count those days in quotes. The ship date is not counted in air quotes. For example, if it ships 2nd Day Air on Monday, it should arrive on Wednesday.

Tracking Information: Many of our shipping vendors provide us with a tracking number for your package. If we get that information we provide it to you right away. However, if we do not get tracking information from a vendor, we will not be able to give you an exact delivery date.

International Orders: At this time we are only shipping to the USA and Canada. We do not know or have any control over customs, duty, brokerage fees, or any other additional fees that will be added by government agencies at time of delivery. We have no way of knowing what governments charge citizens of other countries beyond the actual shipping charges that we collect on our own invoices according to UPS, Fedex or USPS rate tables. International orders do not qualify for Free shipping.

Free Shipping: We ship many of our items with free ground shipping. Free ground shipping is included in the contiguous 48 States on most orders over $100. All other orders will be charged the actual shipping charges from our warehouse to your door. Shipping days are business days. This excludes weekends and holidays. International orders and orders to Alaska and Hawaii do not qualify for free shipping.

In-Store Pickup: If you are in the Puget Sound area and are willing to pick up your order at one of our retail locations, you may select "Free In Store Pickup" from one of our locations as your shipping option. The store you choose will contact you directly as soon as your order is available and you will receive an email confirming an estimated arrival time for pickup. This is usually within 2-5 days of you placing your order.

Ship-To Addresses: Please note that UPS cannot ship to PO Boxes. If you wish to have your order shipped to a PO Box please select USPS shipping. Otherwise please enter a physical street address for UPS shipping. Please enter a physical street address if your order qualifies for Free ground shipping.

Freight Shipping:

1. So that heavy-item orders can go as smoothly as possible, please read the following specifications and conditions for delivery of cabinets, assembled industrial machine tables, and large embroidery machines.

2. Sewing furniture ships via truck line, and not UPS or FedEx. Because of this, someone needs to be at home to receive and sign for the product when delivery takes place.

3. Someone needs to be at the delivery address to receive and sign for the product when delivery takes place. The freight company will call you to inform you of the delivery date so that you can plan accordingly. Provide as many phone numbers as possible to ensure that the shipping company can contact you and let you know when your order will be delivered.

4. Delivery is to the end of your drive or to the street front of your home. This then ends the truck driver’s responsibility. The driver is not obligated to remove the cabinets from the boxes or to get the furniture inside your house. You may need to have appropriate assistance and/or equipment available at delivery to get the product inside your house.

5. When you sign the delivery receipt, it is a legal contract that states that you received the product in acceptable condition. Always inspect your shipment before signing for it. It is best to completely remove your shipment from its containers regardless of the condition of the box, inspect it thoroughly, and if the cabinet is damaged refuse the shipment. This is very important, because once you have signed for your shipment it is your responsibility if it is damaged. If the Customer signs for the product in good condition and the product is damaged, only replacement parts can be purchased at the customer's expense and it is the customer's responsibility to install any replacement parts.

6. Save your box and all packaging materials until you are certain that your order and all the accessories are in satisfactory condition.

7. Remember to call us before signing for the product if you do not understand this delivery agreement. If there is a problem please call Quality Sewing and Vacuum within 24 hours to report a problem.

Furniture Delivery

Koala Studios:

  • Koala cabinets are ready to assemble & will be delivered.
  • Outside Front Door Delivery: $199 first model and $99 for each additional model delivered together. A delivery team will unload your studio(s) and other items at a safe place outside your home: such as a driveway, front door entry, patio, garage, or other flat, level surface with no lifting up or down stairs. Moving the studio(s) inside the home and assembly is the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Room of Choice Delivery: $399 first model and $199 for each additional model delivered together. A delivery team will bring your studio(s) and accessory items into your room of choice, upstairs or downstairs. The unpackaging, assembly and removal of packaging is the responsibility of the buyer. Service provides for up or downstairs carry limited of one flight of stairs totaling 20 steps, with one manageable landing.
    • Room of Choice Delivery is only available within the contiguous United States

Arrow and Kangaroo:

  • Kangaroo cabinets can be fully assembled or RTA & can be picked up in-store or delivered.
  • Assembled Kangaroo cabinets can be picked up in store or shipped to your home White Glove Delivery for $399. A $599 Value.
  • White Glove Delivery: A delivery team will bring your cabinet(s) and accessory items into your room of choice, upstairs or downstairs. They will unpackage the cabinet and remove the packaging. Service provides for up or downstairs carry limited of one flight of stairs totaling 20 steps, with one manageable landing.
  • Ready to Assemble Kangaroo cabinets can be shipped to your home for no additional charge.

Horn of America:

  • Horn cabinets are fully assembled and can be picked up in-store or delivered.
  • Horn cabinets can be picked up in store or shipped via Outside Front Door Delivery to your home for $399.
  • Outside Front Door Delivery: A delivery team will unload your studio(s) and other items at a safe place outside your home: such as a driveway, front door entry, patio, garage, or other flat, level surface with no lifting up or down stairs.
  • Cabinets will be delivered upside down in order to protect the cabinet casters during transportation.
