Inserts are designed to fit your specific make and model of sewing machine and cabinet to fill in all the gaps around your sewing area. Made with one of the highest grades of acrylic for durability.

• Inserts with a lip rest on the cabinet top.
• Insets without a lip sit flush with the cabinet top inside, resting on a ledge within the cabinet opening.
• Cabinet opening dimensions determine the insert/inset size.

Sew Steady inserts & insets are custom products. Please allow 3 - 5 weeks for delivery.

*Please Note: Inserts are custom made to your machine and the width of the opening of the cabinet or table. Depending on the size of your sewing machine compared to the opening of the cabinet or table, the insert may not extend all the way around machine as shown. Machines must be smaller than the cabinet opening by a minimum 3.5" in depth (front to back) at widest part and 2" in length (left to right) for insert to wrap completely around machine as shown in picture. If the machine is wider or longer than these minimums we may still be able to make a Filler Piece to help fill gaps and still create a smooth sewing surface. The standard position of the machine in the cabinet opening from front to back is centered. The standard position of the insert from right to left is to have the machine sit 1-3" to the left of the opening to allow room for the machine to lower up and down on the lift. The 1-3" gap allows room for the wheel and cords that typically are located on the right of the machine.
